3.30.2019 - Announcing the Release of the Vertical Power Primary Power System (PPS)
We are pleased to announce the official launch of the Vertical Power Primary Power System (PPS) for experimental and Light-Sport aircraft. The PPS is a carefully-engineered and highly-qualified device that handles your high-current power, eliminating outdated and unreliable electro-mechanical components.
5 years in the making, thousands of hours of testing and engineering, and the PPS is finally here, ready for your order!
3.28.2019 - The Copperstate Fly-In was absent in 2018 due to a move to a date earlier in the year going forward. February 2019 proved to be a great time to hold this event as attendance to the fly-in portion was very good for a show this size.
The show is now held in conjunction with a weekend airshow, helping the numbers significantly overall, and the quality of people visiting the booth early (before the airshow) was great. Now located in Buckeye, AZ just southwest of Phoenix, the airport supported the show nicely. There was a nice vendor turnout for the return of the show, and I was busier than expected.
This show serves to get us, as vendors, in front of the EAB and LSA crowd that isn’t able to make it to Florida or Wisconsin for the big shows. I for one, was quite happy and impressed with how the show was organized this year. We’ll be back next year, but for now, come see us at Sun 'n Fun in Lakeland, FL. Chad, Jeff, and our newest member of the VP team, Peter, will be there to answer all of your questions.
3.5.2019 - Vertical Power had a great week at the light sport expo in Sebring, FL over the last weekend in January. High winds and cool temps didn’t keep the crowds and airplanes away, and the numbers in the booth reflect this. I think this is another record year for booth visits since we’ve had a booth in the exhibitor tent. The exhibitor hall was sold out, and the location of the tent was much better this year being right outside the main terminal building so people walk in the show and can immediately make their way through the various vendors. One day of rain on Thursday slowed things down a little bit, but it was still a good day and the booths were busy. I don’t know what the official numbers were from attendance, but they did have a larger turnout of indoor and outdoor vendors, as well as a number of activities throughout the day for people to take part in. I was able to meet with a few OEM’s that I haven’t talked to in the past, and will sign up one of them as our newest OEM shortly. Next year’s show is already on the calendar and we’ll look forward to returning once again in 2020.
1.2.2019 - The annual trip down to Sebring, Florida in January is just around the corner. Chad will be there tending to the booth to answer any and all questions you may have about the VP-X and PPS. We have brand new demo displays that will feature the Garmin G3X Touch, Dynon HDX, and the iPad/iLevil interface. Our location will be inside the vendor tent, booth 403. So if you are planning to attend the show…or maybe just stopping by because you want to be in Florida in January…say hi and get the latest info on Vertical Power.
